MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is increasing licensing fees for hunting and fishing.
The fee increases, which are $4 to $40 depending on the license issued, are for people who live outside of Wisconsin. State residents won’t see an increase.
The increase in licensing fees is part of the final biennial state budget signed into law by Gov. Tony Evers. The last time fees were increased was in 2005.
You can see the new fees below or on the DNR’s website. Any licenses issued for this season are good through March 31, 2024.
