There were only three primaries in a roughly dozen-county area Tuesday night in southwestern Wisconsin.

RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WRCO/WRCE) – With only a handful of primaries in all of southwestern Wisconsin Tuesday, most people didn’t even have to head to the polls.
That being said, hundreds of voters still turned out to make their ballots count and help finalize this spring’s election ballot.
Sauk County had just one primary, for District 27 County Supervisor. Scott Haugen and Scott Alexander advanced to the spring election, collecting a combined 76 votes from 104 ballots cast.
Similarly, Grant County had only one primary, for a Boscobel City Council seat. District 1’s pairing for the spring will be Cody Trumm taking on Ramona Kord, who combined to take 62 votes out of 71 ballots turned in.
Crawford County’s lone primary was for Seneca School Board, where incumbent Charles Clark had the most votes at 153 out of 461 ballots turned in. With two open seats, four people can advance to the spring election, but the unofficial results have a tie for the fourth and final spot on the ballot. That will be resolved after canvassing. As it stands on election night, all five candidates are waiting for the official results, but Clark, Jennifer Aspenson, and Kyle Berger are all moving on to the spring election ballot.
Richland, Vernon, Monroe, and Iowa counties had no primary elections or referendum questions on Tuesday night.
