OSHKOSH, WI – (WGBW & WISS) – The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a string of thefts of fishing equipment from boats at different locations throughout the city.
A press release from the Oshkosh Police Department said that over the last couple of weeks, several thefts of fishing gear taken from boats have been reported to the police department.
“We encourage citizens to remove items of value from their boats, park their
boats in a well-lit area and if possible, park in an area that has video surveillance cameras,” the press release said.
