Wisconsin Rapids, WI (WFHR, WIRI)
Bicycle Motocross, or BMX is a sport where riders navigate a winding hilly course on specialized bikes and is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Central Wisconsin BMX, located on the corner of County W and the Riverview Expressway in Wisconsin Rapids will be hosting one of just 30 national races in North America during 2025.
The three day event is expected to bring thoursands of visitors and over a million dollars of economic impact into the area. The event begins August 1 2025 and will be the only BMX national hosted in Wisconsin.
Central Wisconsin BMX, celebrating it’s 20’th anniversary in it’s current location has made significant investments in new race managment technology. The “Sqorz” system improves accuracy and also integrates with smartphones to provide riders with real-time results.

BMX Races are organized according to age and skill levels giving everyone opportunity to compete. All that is needed to get started is a long sleeve shirt, long pants, a bike meeting certain safety requirements and closed toe shoes. Helmets are requred and are available to loan. Local races run on Sunday afternoons through October.
