Milwaukee is ground zero for the U.S. presidential race on Friday with both major party presidential candidates holding dueling rallies in the city.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a rally Friday night at the Fiserv Forum, which was the same location where the Republican Party held its national convention in July. Meanwhile, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is expected to appear at a rally Friday night at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in West Allis.
Besides swinging through Milwaukee, Harris is also expected to visit Janesville and Appleton during this Wisconsin stop.
This full-court press from both campaigns signals how important Wisconsin is to the electoral arithmetic for both candidates – and for how closely divided Wisconsin is. The latest Marquette Law School Poll, released earlier this week, found Harris and Trump were locked in a dead heat.
To that point, both candidates have made multiple visits to Wisconsin in recent days, including stops in Madison and Green Bay earlier this week.
Stay tuned for continuing coverage of both candidates’ campaign stops.
