OSHKOSH, WI–(WGBW&WISS)–Voters head to the polls today to decide pivotal state and national elections. In Northeast Wisconsin rain may have grayed the skies, but it didn’t dampen voting, as voters stood in line waiting to cast their ballots.
Voters are deciding the following elections in Northeast Wisconsin:
Voters will also be asked to decide on a state constitutional referendum. The referendum will change the wording in the Wisconsin State Constitution. Currently, it reads, “Every United States citizen age 18 or older who is a resident of an election district in this state is a qualified elector of that district.” The referendum asks voters if they want to change the word “every” to “only.”
Finally, there are over 20 school referenda on the ballots in Northeast Wisconsin.
