GREEN BAY, WI- (WGBW) – People using the Green Bay Metro Transit system to work, school, shopping, or just get around town will pay more in 2025.
This is the first rate increase for the public transportation system in five years. Adult weekly passes will increase from $15 to $16. Adult and student 30-day passes will increase by $2, and fares for people with disabilities will increase by $2 from $19 to $21.
The fare hikes take effect on January 1, 2025.
Other areas will see a $2 increase including agency fares for people with disabilities, which will go from $19 dollars to 21 dollars.
