
Firefighters Respond to a House Fire in Richland Center
The Richland Center Fire Department was called out to a house fire last night (Monday). Chief Scott Gald reports the department was paged to 620 Pleasant View Court around 11:15. for a report of smoke filling the house. First Officers on scene reported flames coming from the roof of the structure near the chimney area. Fire Personnel were able to contain the fire quickly but the structure received major fire, smoke and water damage. Six units and 30 firefighters were on the scene for two and a half hours. No injuries were reported. The Richland Center Fire Department was assisted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Richland Center Police Department, Richland EMS, City Utilities, and the Lone Rock and Muscoda Fire Departments.
