Severe Storms Leave Thousands Without Power in Racine and Waukesha Counties

RACINE, Wis (WRJN) – There’s about 1,100 homes and businesses in Racine County without power after morning storms. The places with the most outages at the moment are in the City of Racine and Mount Pleasant. There’s about 2,000 places without power in Waukesha County. WE Energies says they are working on getting everything back online.

In other weather related news, The Racine NOAA Weather Radio is currently experiencing technical difficulties. The National Weather Service says technicians are aware of the issue. As a temporary solution, you can use the alternate radios KEC-60 on 162.4 MHz and WNG-536 on 162.500 MHz. Multiple rounds of storms are expected through Tuesday.
