
Suspects on the Run After Home Invasion in Elmwood Park
ELMWOOD PARK, Wis. (WRJN) — Authorities in Racine County are on the hunt for two suspects involved in a home invasion Tuesday night in the Village of Elmwood Park. Racine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress at approximately 8:37 p.m. in the 3400 block of N. Elmwood Dr.
When they got there, deputies discovered the one person living there had already ran off after encountering the intruders. Despite a thorough search of the residence and surrounding area, the suspects got away. They are described as two white males wearing black ski masks. One suspect is noted to have a tall, thin build with blue eyes, wearing a black hoodie and dark-colored jeans.
The Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is actively investigating the incident and has increased patrols in the Elmwood Park area. Investigators are urging residents and local businesses to review their doorbell cameras and surveillance systems for any footage that might assist in identifying the suspects.
