Featuring “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow,” “The Thom Hartmann Program,” and new times for “Matenaer On Air,” “The Todd Allbaugh Show” and “The Maggie Daun Show.”

Civic Media is launching a new weekday lineup for its network of Wisconsin News/Talk radio stations. Changes will begin on Wednesday, April 23, for 11 different stations across the state.

The revamped lineup will include a fresh, expanded morning show anchored by Pat Kreitlow, founding editor of UpNorthNews, featuring contributions from Civic Media reporters and hosts from across Wisconsin. The show, “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow,” will air on eight stations in Wisconsin, and several current morning shows from various markets — including “The Earl Ingram Show” in Milwaukee and “The Chad Holmes Show” in Wausau — will be folded into the new statewide program.

“We are excited to bring a more robust and flexible morning show to the state, and to reposition our best shows to serve our uniquely Wisconsin audience,” said Sage Weil, founder and CEO of Civic Media. “This new approach will provide the flexibility to spotlight our local voices that focus on what is happening in our local communities, from Earl Ingram in Milwaukee to Chad Holmes in Wausau, and to share that content both on and off the air.”

Along with the revamped morning show, the nationally acclaimed “The Thom Hartmann Program,” which previously aired on WMDX in Madison and replayed late nights, will return to its live syndicated time slot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on all News/Talk stations across the state.

Three of Civic Media’s daily original News/Talk shows will be in new or modified time slots on the statewide network.

Matenaer On Air,” with Jane Matenaer and Greg Bach, moves one hour earlier to air from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Two shows will move to later time slots in the afternoon, with “The Todd Allbaugh Show” airing from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (previously 12-2 p.m.) and “The Maggie Daun Show” airing from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (previously 2-4 p.m.). “Nite Lite with Pete Schwaba” will continue to air from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The full statewide weekday schedule will be as follows:

“This exciting realignment of our weekday programming will bring a renewed local focus to the Civic News/Talk network,” said Kory Hartman, vice president of News/Talk operations at Civic Media.

These changes will apply to the following News/Talk stations:

Three of these Civic Media News/Talk stations will continue to air locally-focused morning shows. “John and Gordy in the Morning” airs from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays on 92.7 WMDX in Madison, and “Maino and the Mayor” airs from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on 97.9 WGBW in Green Bay and on WISS (96.5 Appleton and 98.3 Oshkosh). WMDX will also air “The Stephanie Miller Show” from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Earl Ingram, host of “The Earl Ingram Show,” will be shifting focus from his daily show, which has been airing from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., to regularly join “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” on 540 AM WAUK in Milwaukee and focusing on special projects, beginning with a podcast series on lead in drinking water in Milwaukee.

Each of these shows are available as podcast episodes on the “Shows” page on Civic Media’s website, as well as on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Each show is also livestreamed on Civic Media’s YouTube channel and Twitter/X account

With these changes to the lineup, “The Dom Salvia Show” is coming to an end, and aired its final live episode on April 4.

Along with these changes for Civic Media’s weekday lineup, the network also recently announced a new weekend show, “The Dr. Kristin Lyerly Show,” which airs Saturdays and Sundays on 97.9 WGBW in Green Bay and 98.3 & 96.5 WISS in Oshkosh and Appleton.
