Oshkosh to hold sessions on Sustainability Plan today
OSHKOSH, Wis (WISS) – Today, the Oshkosh Seniors Center South Building will host several sessions to gather public input on the City of Oshkosh’s Sustainability Plan.
The Oshkosh Planning Division will host the sessions, which aim to update the sustainability plan to address goals and recommendations for municipal operations and the community.
The project team from the city and the city’s consultant (GRAEF) will be in-person at each session to provide project background for attendees. In addition, there will be an opportunity to see draft plan goals and provide input.
Sustainability Plan
The sustainability plan includes eight themes, including the following:
- Energy, Utilities, & Facilities
- Waste Management
- Transportation
- Land Use & Economic Development
- Environmental Conservation
- Community Health
- Education, Governance, & Outreach
- Climate Resilience
Engagement Sessions
The engagement sessions will be held at the Oshkosh Seniors Center South Building in the Willow Room on Thursday, May 29. Public input will help steer the planning effort. There will be three sessions available:
- 12:30-2:00pm
- 2:30-4:00pm
- 5:30-7:00pm
