Dodge County Accident Claims Watertown Man’s Life

An accident between a passenger car and semi in Dodge County Friday morning claimed the life of a 42-year-old Watertown man.

Sheriff’s officials say he was heading north on County Highway A/I when he failed to negotiate a slight curve. His vehicle entered the southbound lane and collided with a semi pulling a trailer.

He was extricated from the car and flown to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee where he died. A 50-year-old Illinois man was driving the semi. He suffered minor injuries and was treated at the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

The accident in the Town of Oak Grove was reported at 10:10 Friday morning.
