Rock and Roll Never Forgets: Five Months Strong on WRJN

Hard to believe we’re almost into the middle of October already. Guess time flies when you’re having fun. It seems just like yesterday when I joined WRJN and began airing rock and Roll Never Forgets again. Over the past five months RRNF has spotlighted female artists, Wisconsin and Illinois artists, doo wop, summer, car and surf songs among some of the specials we’ve aired. If you haven’t had a chance to listen to our show, it normally airs Saturdays from ten am until 2 pm.

However, when Badgers football airs the show is either shortened or is gone for that Saturday. Just check the UW schedule online for the time of its Saturday games: an 11 am starts means no show that Saturday and a 2:30 pm game time means our show airs from 10 am until 12:30 pm. Rock and Roll Never Forgets covers the first three decades of top forty rock and roll. We have regular weekly features including number one hits on the date of the show, artists celebrating birthdays on the weekend of the show, groovy instrumentals, an Elvis encore, a Beatle break, one shot wonders,a dance blast from the past, makeout oldies, and an R and B classic.
