Rebels Vs. Crusaders, Tonight!

A Racine rivalry on the hardwood takes over the WRJN airwaves tonight!  It’s Lutheran taking on Horlick, with coverage starting at 6:30p.  With the Rebels not having a great season (1-11), they’re looking to give the Crusaders their first loss of the year (13-0).  

Hearts are still heavy in CA, but basketball will be played in LA Saturday afternoon.  YOUR Wisconsin Badgers take on USC, with coverage starting at 1pm.  The 24th ranked Badgers are coming off a Tuesday win against Ohio State and looking to climb the rankings even further.  

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Bob Uecker in a posting about sports. He will be terribly missed.  Mr. Baseball was last heard on WRJN in October.  The first mention of his name on WRJN was back in the mid-50’s, when he was signed to the Milwaukee Braves, at the time, WRJN was an affiliate of the team.  Our thoughts are with anyone impacted by his loss, especially the Uecker family.
