The Milwaukee Brewers have been on a tear, as the all star break came, the Brewers set a franchise record for the best first half record in team history by going 56-40! At the All Sat break, they currently sit only 1 game back of first place in the division standings, while currently in a wildcard spot.

The Brewers had three all stars selected for the all star game. Ace Freddy Peralta, Rookie Phenom Jacob Misiorowski, and their great closer Trevor Megill, who replaced Freddy Peralta for the all star game.

Both brewers pitchers made an impact in the all star game, with Trevor Megill coming in the top of the seventh inning, as he closed the inning, getting 1 out by making the Guardian’s Steven Kwann ground out to end the inning. Jacob Misiorowski pitched a scoreless inning, while throwing multiple pitches at 102 miles per hour! The National League ended up winning the game via a homerun derby-like swing-off.

As the second half of the season starts off on Friday, the Brewers head to LA to play the Dodgers, they look to make another postseason push again this season.
