The Racine Raiders dominated the Mid-West United Football League this season.

So it’s no surprise they also dominated the All-MWUF first-team selections.

The teams were announced Tuesday on the MWUF Facebook page and the undefeated Raiders, who beat the Illinois Cowboys 17-14 in the MWUF title game on Aug. 15, led the way with 11 selections.

Eight of them — four each — were on defense and special teams.

The Raiders defense, which led the league with 13 interceptions and 45 sacks, was led by both cornerbacks, Corey Dalton and Quan Jackson, and linebackers Gary Young Jr. and Elvin Turner. Jackson tied for second in the league with three interceptions and Young was second in the league in tackles (53) and third in sacks (9.5).

On special teams, Dalton was the punt returner and the only MWUF player with two first-team selections. Kicker Brady Wodack was the first-team kicker, Sawyer Schick was the first-team long snapper and Gianni Scacco was first-team on special teams.

Offensive first-team selections were MWUF leading rusher Ricky Lollis at running back, Bubba Rewolinski at tight end and Shanault Carey Jr. on the offensive line.

The closest team to the Raiders in first-team selections were the Sheboygan County SaberCats with eight.

The Burlington Blue Devils had one first-team selection, Mike Sparacino on special teams.
