Kyle Kehoe announces run for 55th Assembly District

OSHKOSH, WI – (WISS & WGBW) – An Oshkosh realtor and former law enforcement officer announces his bid for the Wisconsin Assembly Seat in the 55th District. Kyle Kehoe, a Democrat, lists housing affordability, women’s reproductive freedoms & workers’ rights as his top priorities. 

Kehoe says his goal is to “create common-sense legislation which empowers and supports the people of the 55th district.”

The Wisconsin 55th Assembly District includes most of Winnebago County and part of Outagamie County. It consists of the City of Omro, the Village of Winneconne, part of Fox Crossing west of the Fox River, and the southern quarter of the City of Oshkosh.

Republicans Michael Schraa of Oshkosh and Nate Gustafson of Fox Crossing have also announced campaigns for the 55th Assembly District.

Kyle Kehoe announced his candidacy for 55th Assembly District

Kyle Kehoe has officially announced his candidacy as the democratic nominee for Wisconsin’s 55th State Assembly District in the upcoming 2024 election. Kyle is a realtor with previous work experience in law enforcement and management. With a deep-rooted connection to the 55th district, Kyle aims to bring a fresh perspective with his hard-working demeanor.  Housing affordability, women’s reproductive freedoms & workers’ rights are at the top of Kyle’s priorities.

Kyle volunteers on the housing advocacy committee with the Wisconsin Realtors Association and the Planning & Zoning commission with the Town of Algoma. Kyle will bring his extensive experience in housing to bring forward sustainable housing policy in Wisconsin.

“I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Wisconsin’s 55th Assembly District. Throughout my adult life I have worked hard as a police officer, climbed the ranks to management & currently run a successful real estate business. I am ready to take the next step to be your assembly representative. My goal is to create common-sense legislation which empowers and supports the people of the 55th district. I am determined to work hard and diligently for the people of the district & Wisconsin.”

Throughout his campaign, Kyle will prioritize housing policies that build up neighborhoods while keeping costs affordable, defend and restore reproductive rights and protections to the women of Wisconsin & he will fight for policies that empower workers and unions across the state. Kyle will share his vision in his upcoming kickoff meeting scheduled on April 21st.

Where: Town of Algoma Town Hall – 15 N Oakwood Rd, Oshkosh
Details: This event is open to the public including free food and beverages.  Speaking arrangements are scheduled for 12:30pm.
