MILWAUKEE, Wis – (Civic Media) – Southeast Wisconsin is bracing for another round of heavy snowfall this weekend, just a day after its largest snowstorm of the season.
The National Weather Service, Milwaukee-Sullivan office has a Winter Weather Advisory running from 6 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m. Saturday morning. Just tonight, the area is expected to receive 2 to 4 inches of snow, with snowfall rates reaching up to one inch per hour.
Over the entire weekend, Southeast Wisconsin is expected to accumulate an additional 5 to 8 inches of snow, mostly on Saturday, adding to Wednesday’s totals of 4 to 7 inches.
The snow is expected to cease by noon Sunday. Drivers are being told to be careful, especially tonight during the evening commute.
