RACINE, Wis. – (WRJN) – The Racine Raiders return to local radio after a decade-long hiatus, partnering with WRJN for their inaugural season in The Players Football Association.
The partnership revives one of the longest media-team relationships in sports, dating back to 1965. WRJN will broadcast all Raiders regular season and playoff games in 2025, marking the station’s 51st year of coverage.
Don Wadewitz will lead play-by-play, with Evan Witalison and Emlyn Thomas as analysts. The broadcasts will air on 1400 AM and 99.9 FM in Racine, and 98.1 FM in Kenosha.
“It just feels right to have the Racine Raiders, Your Hometown Team, back on WRJN,” said Raiders board president Matt Nelson.
The Raiders, seeking their third consecutive national championship, open their season May 3, 2025, at Historic Horlick Athletic Field. General Manager Geoffrey Schick promises “one of the most competitive and exciting seasons” as the team faces seven league or bowl game champions.
WRJN General Manager Chris Moreau added, “Now, as WRJN enters its 98th year of serving Racine, it’s only natural that we team up with the Raiders again.”
