GREEN BAY, WI- (WGBW) – Hundreds of voters attended a “Town Hall” at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay last night (Sunday, March 30, 2025) hosted by billionaire Elon Musk and his political action committee.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed a lawsuit Friday against Musk to stop his efforts to give $1 million to two voters during the event. However, the Wisconsin Court of Appeals denied that injunction on Saturday.
Kaul called Musk’s offer a “blatant attempt to violate (the state law).”
Meanwhile, the event went off without a hitch in Green Bay, with Musk taking the stage wearing a yellow cheesehead hat and then throwing his support behind Brad Schimel in the Supreme Court race that will be decided tomorrow.
The event was only open to people who had signed an online petition against what Musk called “activist judges.”
Protesters from Northeast Wisconsin gathered outside the KI Convention Center to express their opposition to Brad Schimel, claiming Musk is trying to buy the election.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court race has been one of the most expensive races in history, with Elon Musk and the Republicans backing conservative Brad Schimel and Democrats backing the liberal-leaning Susan Crawford.
