There Were Several Local Races on Tuesday’s Ballots

In local races on Tuesday there were two races in the Town of Bloom. Jerry Crotsenberg, Sr. defeated Bradford McCauley 106 to 91 for Town Board Supervisor; and Lora Hynek defeated Shaun Murphy-Lopez 111 to 88 for Town Treasurer.

There were three races in Buena Vista Township. Residents chose two board supervisors from a list of four vying for the position. They were: Gordon Brockway, Jeremiah Robert Ringlestetter, Zachary Thome, and Jake Kleckner. The top two vote getters elected were Gordon Brockway with 280 votes and Zachary Thome with 227 votes. Jeremiah Robert Ringlestetter received 200 votes and Jake Kleckner received 179 votes. Two people were vying for Buena Vista Town Clerk. Melissa Allen was elected with 316 votes to Van Nelson’s 305 votes. Barbara Brockway was elected Town Treasurer for Buena Vista, defeating Angela Larson 322 to 311.

In the Town of Dayton, voters elected Gary Manning to serve as Town Board Chairperson. Manning defeated Cheryl Dull 179 votes to 137. Two supervisors were elected from a field of four. Voters chose Kurt Monson with 166 votes and Paul Perkins with 143 votes to serve. Andy Hofer received 127 votes and James Lingel received 106.

Voters in the Village of Muscoda saw two races on their ballot. One for Village President between John Imhoff and Eric Johnson. John Imhoff defeated Eric Johnson 259 votes to 184. Three trustee positions were elected. Voters chose between Michael Hill, Douglas Meyer, Kim Seifert (sye-fert), and Eric Johnson. The top three vote getters were: Douglas Meyer with 265 votes, Kim Seifert with 253, and Mike Hill with 252 votes. Eric Johnson received 188 votes.
