Chris Taylor wins state Supreme Court election
The Associated Press called the race just 43 minutes after polls closed Tuesday night.
MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – Chris Taylor, a judge on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, has won the 2026 election for state Supreme Court over Maria Lazar.
The Associated Press called the race at 8:43 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, April 7.
Taylor, who was backed by liberal-leaning groups in the officially non-partisan race, quickly earned the nod as results arrived shortly after the polls closed on Tuesday night.
