The Racine Raiders were dominant in their season opener once again, by beating the Tennessee Hornets 35-0 at Historic Horlick Athletic Field. With the win, the Raiders now have a winning streak of 28 games, which ties them with the 1992-1993 Raiders for the longest winning streak in the team’s rich history.
It was great to see everyone who came out for the season opener, as well as being told the stream sounded good on our end! It was great to have great feedback, as WRJN is broadcasting Raiders games after a 10 year hiatus.
There will be no Brewers game on WRJN on Saturday afternoon but make sure to tune into the Raiders second game of the season, as they attempt to break their record for the longest winning streak in team history. They play the Michigan Bills away from home, as the game kicks off at 6:00PM. You can hear the game on 1400AM and 99.9FM in Racine and 98.1 in Kenosha. If you are outside the Racine or Kenosha, you can download the Civic Media App and select WRJN.
