Friday Night Lights, Packers season kicks off

The 2-0 Union Grove Broncos take on the 2-0 Elkhorn Elks Friday night on WRJN. Union Grove has got off to a very hot start this season by beating Racine Hrolick Horlick 35-6, then beating South Milwaukee 49-0.

Elkhorn has had much closer games, beating Delevan-Darien 28-14, and Cedarburg 21-20 in their first two games.

The game is sure to be an exciting game with both teams looking to get to 3-0 in the early part of the year.

The Packers open the regular season Sunday at Lambeau Field against the Detroit Lions, with kickoff on WRJN at 3:25 PM. Green Bay enters 2025 with high expectations, aiming to make a statement early in a competitive NFC North.
