Friday Night Lights, Packers Return To Action

This Friday night, tune in to WRJN as Burlington hosts Westosha Central in high school football action. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., with pregame coverage beginning at 6:40.

Burlington opened the season on a hot streak, winning their first three games, but has since dropped three of their last four. Sitting at 4–3 with just two games left, the Demons are looking to regain momentum this season.

Westosha Central, meanwhile, is still searching for its first win of the year. The Falcons will look to play spoiler and find some positives to build on as the season winds down.

Then on Sunday, WRJN brings you NFL action as the Green Bay Packers return from their bye week to face the Cincinnati Bengals. Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m., with pregame coverage starting at 1:00.

Green Bay sits at 2–1–1 after a disappointing loss and tie in their last two outings. The Packers will aim to come out strong and reestablish rhythm on both sides of the ball.

The Bengals, 2–3 on the season, have dropped three straight but made headlines by acquiring veteran quarterback Joe Flacco from the Browns. Sunday’s matchup will mark the second time in three games that the Packers have faced Flacco, who started against them earlier this season with Cleveland.
