Waterford Set to Host Unbeaten Beloit Memorial in Key Matchup

WRJN brings you a marquee high school basketball showdown tonight at 7:00, as Waterford welcomes Beloit Memorial.

The Wolverines enter the matchup with an 8–2 record and plenty of momentum. Waterford is ranked 13th in Division 2 and 54th overall in the state, and before their most recent setback, the Wolverines rattled off eight straight wins, establishing themselves as one of the top teams in their division.

Standing in their way is an unbeaten Beloit Memorial squad that has been dominant from the opening tip this season. The Purple Knights are 7–0, ranked 10th in Division 1 and 32nd statewide. Beloit Memorial has overwhelmed opponents on both ends of the floor, outscoring teams 660–380 through their first seven games.

Despite Beloit Memorial’s strong start, Waterford will look to defend its home floor against one of the state’s top Division 1 programs in what shapes up as a true test for both teams.
